AI RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Contract
Explore and apply machine learning to real business problems. You will research, prototype and evaluate AI solutions, from LLM-powered assistants to predictive models, and help turn the most promising ones into production systems.

Responsibilities
- Research and prototype AI solutions for client use cases
- Design evaluation methods and benchmark models for accuracy, cost and latency
- Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent-based systems
- Fine-tune and adapt models on domain-specific data when needed
- Work with engineering to move prototypes into reliable production services
- Write clear technical reports and share findings with the team

Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in machine learning or NLP
- Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch or similar frameworks
- Practical experience building applications on large language models
- Solid understanding of evaluation, data quality and model limitations
- Ability to work independently and communicate results clearly

Nice to Have
- Published research or open-source ML projects
- Experience with vector databases and MLOps tooling
- Experience with Bahasa Indonesia NLP
